The University of Bijeljina (UBN) is an interdisciplinary, independent and autonomous higher education institution, founded in 2010, and it received its work permit on October 5, 2012. UBN consists of 4 faculties, within which there are about 70 teachers, over 1000 students and currently offers 5 study programs. UBN has over 50 signed bilateral agreements with partner universities from Europe and the world. These bilateral agreements regulate various types of cooperation, such as work on subjects and projects of common interest, exchange of scientists and students, joint publications, exchange of information and other activities aimed at improving academic cooperation. UBN has been participating in ERASMUS projects CBHE and ICM since 2019. UBN pays significant attention to the development of the social community, so it regularly conducts continuous education of agricultural workers, health workers, and psychologists. Within the University, a Center for publishing activities was established, which enables students to have original literature for exam preparation.

The University has 4300m² of space, within which the University has 4 amphitheatres, 5 classrooms with a total of 600 seats. A computer room with a total of 20 networked computers and a reading room are available to students. Teachers, associates and administration have 12 cabinets, or offices. The amphitheatres have their own sound systems, and all classrooms are equipped with Internet access and video projection. In addition to the mentioned university, there are 9 laboratories intended for conducting exercises for students of pharmacy and agriculture. The Center for Psychological Counseling of Youth is also located within the university.

FACULTY OF PHARMACY

Integrated academic pharmacy studies

Study program: Integrated academic studies of pharmacy according to the program last 5 years, i.e. 10 semesters and are evaluated with 300 ECTS points. In that period, a total of 1,500 hours of theoretical classes, 885 hours of practical classes, 945 hours of seminars and 5,445 independent work (student practice) are held, which makes a total of 9,000 hours at the faculty and in health institutions.

Obtains the academic title: Master of Pharmacy – 300 ECTS.

FACULTY OF PSYCHOLOGY

Basic academic studies in psychology

According to the program, studies last 4 years, i.e. 8 semesters and are evaluated with 240 ECTS points. In that period, a total of 7,200 hours of active teaching and independent work of students are carried out.

Obtains the academic title: Graduated psychologist – 240 ECTS.

FACULTY OF HEALTH STUDIES

Academic studies Nursing

According to the program, they last 3 years, or 6 semesters, and are valued at 180 ECTS points. In that period, a total of 1,200 hours of theoretical classes, 810 hours of practical classes, 240 hours of seminars and 2,170 independent work (student practice) are held, which makes a total of 4,420 hours, at the Faculty and in health institutions.

Obtains the academic title: Graduated Nurse – 180 ECTS

AGRICULTURAL FACULTY

Basic academic studies of agroeconomics

The studies of the first cycle of agroeconomics according to the program last 4 years, i.e. 8 semesters and are valued at 240 ECTS points. In that period, 7,200 hours of active teaching and independent student work on the agricultural economics study program are completed.

Obtains the academic title: Graduated Engineer in Agro-Economics – 240 ECTS

Basic academic studies of agricultural production

The studies of the first cycle of agricultural production according to the program last 4 years, i.e. 8 semesters and are valued at 240 ECTS points. In that period, 7,200 hours of active teaching and independent student work on the Agricultural Production study program are completed.
