As part of the Erasmus+ CBHE GROWTH project, a workshop titled Air Monitoring Workshop was held at CEPS – Center for Business Studies in Kiseljak.
The theoretical part of the workshop took place in the newly equipped Knowledge Hub for
Climate and Sustainability (KHCS), established through the 1FUTURE project. During the
session, participants were introduced to the basics of air quality monitoring in both outdoor
and indoor environments, as well as the correct use of devices for measuring pollutants and
other air quality parameters.
Following the theoretical session, participants took part in a hands-on demonstration of air
quality monitoring equipment, conducted in the classroom and the courtyard of the CEPS
campus. The device used during the workshop was procured through the GROWTH project,
further strengthening CEPS's technical capacities in the field of climate sustainability and environmental protection, in line with the goals of the European Green Deal, which promotes the development of clean technologies and the advancement of knowledge in combating climate change.
The workshop was attended by representatives from the business sector, CEPS teaching staff, and students, highlighting once again the importance of cross-sectoral cooperation in education, practical application, and the implementation of modern sustainable technologies.
CEPS will continue to actively contribute to the development of professional competencies in the fields of ecology and climate change through future activities within the GROWTH project.
